Minister Shahid sends a message of condolence to the Secretary of State of the United States of America
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Shahid, sent a message of condolence to the Secretary of State of the United States of America Anthony Blinken, today.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I was deeply shocked and devastated to learn of the massacre at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, causing the tragic loss of 21 innocent lives including 19 children.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and on my own behalf, I convey profound sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives today.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Government and the people of the United States of America, at this time of great distress.”
