Minister Shahid sends a message of condolence to the Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of condolence to the His Excellency Puspa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’, Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal, following the loss of lives in a tragic airplane crash in the city of Pokhara, Nepal, on 15 January 2023.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
"It was with profound shock and sorrow that I received the news of the plane crash on 15 January 2022 in Pokhara, Nepal causing the tragic loss of lives of those on board.
During this time of distress, the Government and the people of Maldives join me in extending our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to Your Excellency, the Government, and the people of Nepal.
Please also convey our deepest condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
