Minister Shahid sends a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives His Excellency Abdulla Shahid sent a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea His Excellency Park Jin, following the stampede in Itaewon, Seoul.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It was with deep shock and sorrow that I learned of the tragic incident in Itaewon, claiming the loss of lives and injuring many.
The Government and the people of Maldives join me in conveying our heartfelt condolences to the families and friends who lost their loved ones.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Government and people of the Republic of Korea as they mourn this horrific incident. Wishing for a quick recovery for those injured. “
