Minister Shahid sends a message of condolence to the Foreign Minister of Türkiye
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye , Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, following the powerful earthquake that struck Southern Turkiye today.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I am deeply saddened to hear the news of the horrific earthquake that struck Southeastern Anatolia of Türkiye, with aftershocks in numerous other cities.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, I would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to the families who lost their loved ones as well as everyone who has been affected by this tragedy.
Our sincere prayers are with the people of Türkiye, and we hope the efforts of the rescue teams continue swiftly and successfully."
