The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of condolence to H.E. Murat Nurtleu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, following the tragic fire that occurred in the Abai region of Kazakhstan.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I was deeply shocked and saddened to hear the tragic news of the devastating forest fires in the Abai region of Kazakhstan.
The Government and the people of the Maldives join me in conveying our profound sympathies and condolences to the families who lost their loved ones and those impacted by this tragic incident.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims, and all affected by the tragedy, and we wish for the quick recovery of the injured.“
