High Commissioner of Canada, Ambassadors of Norway, Switzerland and Turkey, and Deputy High Commissioners of Australia and New Zealand, took part in the meeting
The Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid today, met with some Non Resident Ambassadors accredited to the Maldives. The meeting was held virtually. The High Commissioner of Canada, Ambassadors of Norway, Switzerland and Turkey, and Deputy High Commissioners from Australia and New Zealand, took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, the Minister thanked all the countries for the support extended to the Maldives during the Covid19 situation, as well as throughout the Maldives’ development journey. The Minister and the Envoys also shared information and experiences in dealing with Covid19, and exchanged views on enhancing bilateral and multilateral relationships between the countries.
The meeting is an initiative of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, to cultivate closer relationships and interaction between the Ministry and the Representatives accredited to the Maldives.
