Minister Shahid holds a virtual meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Guineans Abroad of the Republic of Guinea
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid held a virtual meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Guineans Abroad of the Republic of Guinea, Ibrahima Khalil Kaba, this evening.
Minister Shahid and Minister Kaba spoke on shared common perspectives on a wide range of international issues including climate change, managing international health, eradicating poverty and maintaining international peace and security. The two Ministers also conversed on the situation of the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the efforts towards recovery and the economic impact in their respective countries.
The two Ministers further reiterated their commitment towards expanding bilateral cooperation and working closely in multiple international fora, including the United Nations, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, to advance the dialogue on important issues of mutual interest.
