Minister Shahid congratulates the Foreign Minister of Iraq on his re-appointment
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sent a message congratulating the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Iraq, Mr. Fuad Mohammed Hussein on his re-appointment.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“Excellency, I wish to convey my heartfelt congratulations on Your Excellency’s re-appointment as the Minister for Foreign Affairs, and the designation as Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq. Your Excellency’s re-appointment and prominence within the leadership is indeed an affirmation of your crucial role in promoting Iraq’s interests and stature in regional and international fora.
I am confident that the ties of friendship and close cooperation between our two countries will continue to expand and flourish during Your Excellency’s tenure. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency to further strengthen the close friendship bonded in Islamic unity, between our two countries.
