Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdulla Shahid congratulated Rt. Hon Dominic Raab, on his re-appointment as the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and First Secretary of State of the United Kingdom.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“It is my pleasure to extend my warmest congratulations on your reappointment as the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs and First Secretary of State of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
I look forward to working closely with you to continue the close bilateral cooperation between the Maldives and the United Kingdom, including within the Commonwealth, which we hope to re-join next year.
