12 June 2015; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Dunya Maumoon has arrived back in the Maldives after completion of her official visit to Qatar.
During the visit, Minister Dunya met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, His Excellency Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Attiyah and discussed ways of further strengthening the close historical relations between the two countries.
Minister Dunya also met with the President of Qatar Foundation, Engineer Saad Ebrahim Al Muhannadi and had a fruitful discussion on infrastructure development in the Maldives in areas of health and education.
Minister Dunya was accompanied by Mr. Abdullah Hameed, Ambassador-at-Large at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Mohamed Luveiz, Director at President’s Office and Ms. Maryam Bassama Farooq, Assistant Director at Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
