09 April 2012, Male'; Minister of Foreign Affairs H. E. Dr. Abdul Samad Abdullah has briefed the media about his recent visit to India and Sri Lankan Minister of External Affairs' recent visit to the Maldives.
During the press conference held at the Ministry today the Minister briefed the media about the discussions held with senior officials of the Indian Government. Minister Samad in his four day visit to India met with his Indian counterpart H. E. Mr. S.M. Krishna and Indian National Security Advisor.Foreign Minister also talked about his meet with the diplomatic community based in New Delhi.
In addition to his visit to India, Minister briefly shared with the media about the Sri Lankan Minister of External Affairs H. E. Professor G. L. Peiris's recent visit to the Maldives. Professor Peiris concluded his four day official visit yesterday, during which he met President H. E. Dr. Mohamed Waheed, some cabinet Ministers and also held official talks with Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Abdul Samad Abdullah.
