26 April 2014, Male'; President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom has said that the Maldives Investment Forum held in Singapore on Friday, 25th April 2014, was a very successful event that caught the interest of many foreign investors. The President made this remark while speaking to the local media this evening, on arrival from Singapore.
The President noted that promoting the economic sectors of the country must be an ongoing process. In this regard, the President highlighted the promotional work being undertaken by the Government, to reintroduce the Maldives' economy to the world, and to promote its numerous economic sectors.
