Call on Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid by High Commissioner of New Zealand
High Commissioner of New Zealand to Maldives Jo Tyndall called on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Ahmed Khaleel, today.
During the meeting held via video conference this afternoon, State Minister Khaleel and High Commissioner Tyndall discussed the current situation of COVID-19 in both the countries and the economic impact that follows. Discussions were also held to further enhance the bilateral cooperation, as well as cooperation in the multilateral fora.
High Commissioner Tyndall was accompanied by Disha Gurnani, Third Secretary at the High Commission of New Zealand. State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Shiuneen Rasheed, Director General and Saifulla Waleed, Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
