Foreign Minister Zameer sends a message of condolence to the Foreign Minister of Iran

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Moosa Zameer sends a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, His Excellency Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, following the bombings in Kerman, Iran. 

Minister’s message reads as follows:

“It was with deep shock and horror that I learnt the distressing news of the bombings in Kerman, Iran, causing the tragic loss of lives and injuring many others.

The Government of Maldives condemns this act of terror in the strongest terms. This barbaric act demonstrates the need for the entire international community to work together in unison in eliminating this global menace. Let me also take this opportunity to express the assurances of our solidarity with the Government and the people of Iran.

Please also convey my sincere condolences to the members of the bereaved families and to all those affected by the horrific incident.”
