The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Moosa Zameer has sent a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey V. Lavrov, following the terrorist attack at a concert venue in the Russian Federation.
The Minister’s message reads as follows:
“The Government of Maldives strongly condemns the terrorist attack at a concert venue near Moscow, which has caused the loss of innocent lives and injuries to many.
On behalf of the Government and the people of the Maldives, and on my own behalf, I convey profound sympathies to the families of those affected and wish the wounded a speedy recovery.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Government and the people of the Russian Federation, at this time of national grief and distress”
