Foreign Minister Shahid sends Pakistan Day greetings to Foreign Minister of Pakistan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, on the occasion of Pakistan Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“As the Government and people of Pakistan celebrate Pakistan Day, I would like to extend our sincere greetings and warm felicitations to Your Excellency, the Government and the brotherly people of Pakistan, on behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives. Let me also add our sincere congratulations to the people of Pakistan on marking the historic and joyous occasion of the seventy-fifth anniversary of the Independence of Pakistan, this year.
Maldives and Pakistan share close bonds of brotherhood and friendship founded on our shared faith, values and mutual respect. I remain confident that the existing relations between our two countries will continue to flourish in the years ahead.
Excellency, I wish you good health and happiness and continued progress and prosperity to the friendly people of Pakistan.
