Minister of Foreign Affairs has sent a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal following the destruction caused by rain and landslides
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of condolence to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Democractic Republic of Nepal, His Excellency Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, following the deaths and destruction caused by heavy rain and landslides across Gandaki Province, in Nepal.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“I am deeply saddened to hear of the lives lost and homes destroyed due to the heavy rain and landslides across Gandaki Province, in Nepal.
The Government and the people of the Maldives, join me in sending our heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Nepal. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and all affected by the calamity. I wish for swift and successful recovery efforts.
Please also convey my sincere commiserations to the members of the affected families”
