The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid sends a congratulatory message to His Excellency Chung Eui-yong, for being appointed as the new Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“ It is my pleasure to convey warm congratulations on Your Excellency’s appointment as Foreign Minister of the Republic of Korea.
Maldives and the Republic of Korea have nurtured over five decades of bilateral ties based on mutual respect and trust. I am confident that the friendly relations and cooperation that exist between the two countries will be further strengthened during your term in office.
I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency and the Government of the Republic of Korea in further enhancing our close bilateral relations during your tenure.
Let me also convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity for the people of the Republic of Korea.
