Foreign Minister Shahid sends a condolence message to the Foreign Minister of Thailand
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of condolence to the Deputy Prime Minister and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Excellency Mr. Don Pramudwinai, following the mass shooting at a children’s daycare centre in the town of Nong Bua Lamphu, Thailand.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
" I was shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the mass shooting at a children’s daycare centre in the town of Nong Bua Lamphu claiming the tragic loss of innocent lives, including many children.
The Government and the people of the Maldives join me in extending our deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of those who lost their lives today.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Government and the people of Thailand during this tragic time. "
