President Abdul Hamid expressed his appreciation for the continued support by Maldives on issues of mutual importance
Foreign Minister Shahid paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Md Abdul Hamid, President of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh this evening. During the call Foreign Minister conveyed greetings and well wishes from President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih to the President.
Minister Shahid reiterated the commitment of the Maldivian Government to work closely with the Government of Bangladesh to further consolidate the strong bonds of friendship that has long existed between the two countries. President Abdul Hamid expressed his appreciation for the continued support by Maldives on issues of mutual importance.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by H.E. Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed, Foreign Secretary of Maldives and H. E. Ms Shiruzimath Sameer, High Commissioner of Maldives to Bangladesh.
