Foreign Minister Shahid meets with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Algeria
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria, H.E. Sabri Boukadoum.
Minister Shahid and Minister Boukadoum conversed on ways to further enhance bilateral and multilateral cooperation between the two countries, through collaboration in areas of mutual concern. In this regard, Minister Shahid and Minister Boukadoum stressed on the importance of concerted efforts by the international community, to advocate for the rights of Palestinians and for their right to self-determination.
Both Minister also exchanged views on the impacts of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, and briefed on the economic and financial impact of the COVID-19, including the strategies adopted by the respective Governments to contain the spread of the virus.
