26 March 2014, Male';Foreign Minister Dunya Maumoon has sent a message of condolence to the Secretary of State of the United States of America, following the devastating mudslide in the town of Oso, Washington, which caused extensive damage and loss of lives, with many remaining unaccounted for.
On behalf of the Government and people of the Maldives, she extended deepest sympathies to the Government and people of the United States of America. Her message concludes with condolences to the members of the bereaved families.
