1 June 2014, Male'; Minister of Foreign Affairs, Her Excellency Ms Dunya Maumoon has sent a congratulatory message to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, His Excellency H. E. Mr Riyad al-Malki on the national football team of State of Palestine winning the AFC Challenge Cup.
Minister Dunya's message reads as follows:
"On behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives, and on my own behalf, I have the honour to extend to Your Excellency, my sincere good wishes and congratulations on the national football team of State of Palestine winning the AFC Challenge Cup that was held in the Maldives last week."
