Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Simeón Oyono Esono Angue, on the occasion of the Independence Day of Equatorial Guinea.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
"On the auspicious occasion of the 56th anniversary of Equatorial Guinea’s independence, I would like to extend warm greetings and best wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Equatorial Guinea.
As we count six years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Maldives and Equatorial Guinea, I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency in deepening our friendship and broadening our cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
