The Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has departed on an official visit to Sri lanka this evening.
During the visit, Minister Shahid will pay courtesy calls on His Excellency Gotabaya Rajapaksa, President of Sri Lanka, His Excellency President Mahinda Rajapaksa, MP, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and hold bilateral talks with His Excellency Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of Foreign Relations of Sri Lanka. The Minister will also meet Honourable Karu Jayasuriya, Speaker of Parliament of Sri Lanka and Honourable Chamal Rajapaksa, Minister of Mahaweli, Agriculture Development and Internal Trade and Former Speaker of Parliament.
