First Non-Resident Ambassador of Maldives to Jordan presents Credentials to the King of Jordan
The first Non-Resident Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Maldives to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, His Excellency Mohamed Khaleel, presented his Letter of Credence to the King of Jordan, His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, at a ceremony held at the Royal Hashemite Court, on Sunday afternoon.
During the ceremony, His Majesty the King congratulated Ambassador Khaleel on the commencement of his term and expressed confidence that the appointment of the first Non-Resident Ambassador to Jordan by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih on the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relationship between the two countries, would further strengthen the alliance between the two countries.
Ambassador Khaleel assured of his commitment to work with the Kingdom of Jordan in strengthening cooperation between the two countries, in areas of mutual interest.
Ambassador Khaleel was accompanied to the ceremony by the Minister-Counsellor of the Embassy of Maldives in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Badoora Saeed. The ceremony was attended by the Chief of the Royal Hashemite Court of Jordan Yousef Issawi, and the Acting Foreign Minister and Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs of Jordan, Musa Maaytah.
