19th September 2012, Male'; The Ambassador of the European Union to the Maldives His Excellency Mr Bernard Savage paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Abdul Samad Abdulla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives.
During the call which was held at the Foreign Ministry, discussions were held on ways to further strengthen the close relations between the Maldives and European Union. The Minister also outlined the Ambassador on the current political situation of the Maldives.
The Ambassador honored the Government's efforts and expressed hope that the Maldives would continue to achieve further progress.
