The Chargé ď Affaires a.i. of the US Embassy in Colombo Mr Andrew C Mann, called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs H E Ms. Dunya Maumoon today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry, Mr. Mann congratulated Minister Dunya on the occasion of the 50thAnniversary of ndependence of the Maldives. Discussions also focused on the political developments in the Maldives, bilateral as well as global issues of mutual concern.
Mr. Mann is in Male’ to participate in the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
The Minister was accompanied by Foreign Secretary H.E Mr Ali Naseer Mohamed, Additional Secretary Mr Ibrahim Shaheeb and Senior Desk Officer Fathimath Liusha of the Ministry.
