6 September 2013, Male'; Campaigning has ended at 1800 hrs today in the Presidential Election in the Maldives.
After months of vigorous campaigning by all four candidates, the activities ended peacefully. All candidates had equal opportunity to canvas for support, without any hindrance, in a truly democratic and competitive manner.
Voting booths will open at 0730 hrs tomorrow morning and will close at 1600 hrs or when everyone who had lined up to vote before 1600 hrs finishes voting.
