Australian High Commissioner to the Maldives calls on Minister of State for Foreign Affairs
The Australian High Commissioner to the Maldives, Paul Stephens paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Khaleel, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Minister Khaleel and High Commissioner Stephens reflected on the enhanced engagements between the two countries and discussed ways to further strengthen the historic bonds of friendship and cooperation especially in the fields of education, defence and security.
State Minister Khaleel and High Commissioner Stephens further expressed their commitment to increase cooperation on issues of mutual importance in the multilateral arena.
State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Joint Secretary Shiuneen Rasheed, and Desk Officer Saifulla Waleed.
