Minister received a virtual farewell call from the Non-Resident Ambassador of Thailand to the Maldives
The Minster of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Abdulla Shahid, received a virtual farewell call from the Non-Resident Ambassador of Thailand to the Maldives, Her Excellency Chulamanee Chartsuwan, today.
During the telephone call, Foreign Minister Shahid expressed appreciation for the services that the Ambassador provided to the Maldives during her tenure as the non-resident ambassador of Thailand to the Maldives. Minister thanked the Kingdom of Thailand for the assistance and support provided to the Maldives over the years and during the battle against Covid-19.
Minister also expressed gratitude for the personal attention that Ambassador extended to the Maldives, which has contributed to further consolidation of relations between Thailand and the Maldives.
The Foreign Minister wished the Ambassador the best in future endeavors.
Foreign Minister Shahid was accompanied by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ahmed Khaleel and Mr. Mohamed Faisal, Additional Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
