Ambassador of Ireland to the Maldives, Kevin Kelly paid a courtesy call on Minister of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, today.
At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this morning, Foreign Minister Dr. Khaleel expressed a strong commitment to enhance cooperation between the Maldives and Ireland in key areas of shared interest, including tourism, climate change, and education.
Ambassador Kelly thanked the Foreign Minister and shared his commitment to deepening the partnership with the Maldives through close collaboration in the years ahead.
Minister Dr. Khaleel was accompanied by Foreign Secretary Fathimath Inaya, Ambassador-at-Large Dr. Mohamed Fahmy Hassan, Senior Political Director Ahmed Haanee Naeem and Chief Desk Officer Aminath Shaistha Hamdan Zaki.
