Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Republic of Maldives Jörn Rohde paid a Courtesy Call on Foreign Minister Abdulla Shahid, this afternoon.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Foreign Minister thanked the Government of Germany for taking the initiative to establish a permanent VFS Visa Application Centre in the Maldives. Minister Shahid and Ambassador Rohde also discussed on strengthening the existing bilateral relations between both Germany and Maldives.
Minister Shahid was accompanied by Ahmed Khaleel, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, and Shiuneen Rasheed, Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
