The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Maldives, Juana Elena Ramos Rodriguez paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdulla Shahid, today.
During the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs this afternoon, both the Foreign Minister and the Ambassador held discussions on the existing bilateral and multilateral relations, and explored on expanding the cooperation between the two countries especially in the field of health and sports.
Foreign Minister Shahid was accompanied by Abdul Ghafoor Mohamed, Foreign Secretary and Mohamed Shaffau Ibrahim, Assistant Director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
