14th October 2012, Male'; His Excellency Mr. Pierre Vaesen, Ambassador Designate of Belgium to the Maldives paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Dr. Abdul Samad Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs today.
During the call held at the Ministry, Minister and Ambassador Designate exchanged views on further strengthening the bilateral relations between the Maldives and Belgium and highlighted the historical bonds of friendship between the peoples of the Maldives and Belgium.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Abdul Azeez Yoousf, Ambassador at Large and Ms. Aminath Guraisha, Senior Desk Officer of the Ministry.
