Maldives citizens can apply for a visa on arrival when travelling to Sri Lanka. The visa is issued at the entry point of the country
With effect from 15 October 2025, all travelers visiting Sri Lanka for short-stay purposes (tourism or business) are required to obtain an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) via the official website.

As per reciprocal/bilateral arrangements, Maldivian passport holders are exempted from ETA fees for tourism purposes.
