The Ministry has communicated with the Ghanaian authorities to apprise them of the Maldives' preparedness for the implementation of the agreement. The ministry presently awaiting their response on this matter. According to the terms outlined in the agreement, citizens of both nations will be exempted from visa requirements for entry, transit, and temporary stays in each other's territories. This exemption is granted on the condition of possessing a valid travel document, with the stipulation that the duration of each stay should not exceed 30 days from the date of entry.
