Effective from June 14, 2023, citizens of the Maldives are now eligible for a visa on arrival to Egypt, allowing a stay of up to 30 days from the date of entry. It's important to note that a fee of $25 will be levied by the Egyptian authorities for each Maldivian traveler seeking an "on arrival visa." Additionally, depending on the purpose of travel, there may be supplementary requirements such as proof of accommodation.
