Newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of Egypt to Maldives calls on Minister of State for Foreign Affairs

The newly appointed Non-Resident Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Maged Mosleh Nafei has paid a courtesy call on the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, His Excellency Ahmed Khaleel, today.

At the meeting held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, State Minister Khaleel welcomed Ambassador Nafei and congratulated him on presenting credentials as the Non-Resident Ambassador from Egypt to Maldives. State Minister expressed confidence that the Maldives and Egypt would continue to further reinforce the strong bonds of solidarity and mutual cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Ambassador Nafei assured of his eagerness and commitment to work with the Government of the Maldives and reflected on his plans to deepen cooperation between the two countries, during his tenure.

State Minister Khaleel was accompanied by Mohamed Faisal, Additional Secretary and Aminath Abdulla, Senior Desk Officer at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
