Minister Shahid sends National Day greetings to Malaysia
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid has sent a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Malaysia, Honourable Dato' Saifuddin Abdullah, on the occasion of the 65th National Day of Malaysia.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“ On behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives and my own behalf, I extend warm greetings to the Government and the people of Malaysia, on the joyous occasion of the 65th National Day of Malaysia.
Maldives and Malaysia continue to enjoy brotherly ties based on mutual respect and trust. Over the years, our cooperation has grown steadily across many sectors, including education, trade, and tourism. On this day I reiterate the eagerness to strengthen the ties in these areas, and beyond.
May Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala bless the leadership of Malaysia and its people, and perpetuate the sustenance of health, happiness, and prosperity among them.
