Minister Shahid sends National Day greetings to Brunei
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Shahid sent a message of felicitations to the Minister for Foreign Affairs II of Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Dato Erywan Yusof on the occasion of the 38th National Day of Brunei Darussalam.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On behalf of the Government and the people of Maldives, it gives me great pleasure to extend warm felicitations and good wishes to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Brunei on the auspicious occasion of the 38th National Day of Brunei Darussalam.
Maldives and Brunei enjoy a strong bond of friendship and close bilateral relations based on mutual understanding and trust. I look forward to working closely with Your Excellency in enhancing friendship between our two peoples and promoting cooperation in various fields.
Let me also convey my best wishes for Your Excellency’s good health and well-being, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity for the friendly people of Brunei. Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration.”
