Minister Shahid sends Independence Day greetings to the Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends message of felicitations to Dr. Amery Browne, Minister of Foreign and CARICOM Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago, on the occasion of their Independence Day.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“On the occasion of your Independence Day, I wish to convey warm felicitations and best wishes, on behalf of the Government, the people of the Republic of Maldives and on my own behalf, to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Trinidad and Tobago.
I look forward to strengthening the bilateral ties between the two countries, especially increasing our joint action in addressing the special vulnerabilities faced by SIDS in the multilateral system.
Please accept, Excellency, my best wishes to your good health and well-being and the assurances of my highest consideration.”
