Minister Shahid sends a message of felicitations to Gabon
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, Abdulla Shahid sends a message of felicitations to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Gabonese Republic, Michael Moussa Adamo, on the occasion of Gabon’s admittance to the Commonwealth.
Minister’s message reads as follows:
“Excellency,
It gives me great pleasure to extend warm congratulations and sincere good wishes from the Government and people of the Maldives, and on behalf of myself, to Your Excellency, the Government and the people of Gabon on the admission of Gabon to the Commonwealth Family.
Maldives believes that this decision will play to the strength of the Commonwealth as a whole and also allow Gabon to explore new opportunities that the Commonwealth has to offer. I look forward to collaborating closely with Gabon in fast-tracking collective actions to address common challenges within the Commonwealth.
